Abstract: Cardiac fibromas are rare benign tumours of connective tissue that occur most frequently in children within the left ventricle. Spontaneous regression has not been observed, and surgical intervention is usually required. We have successfully treated a 1-year old girl with a giant fibroma of the right ventricle using the principles of the Batista procedure.
