Abstract: Breech presentation is the most common of malpresentations, occurring in 3-4% of all term deliveries. The fetus may adopt breech presentation because of many factors. In the past, the mode of delivery (vaginal or abdominal) was determined by clinical considerations. Current recommendations are for cesarean section in all breech presentations. Successful External Cephalic Version is the only effective way to avoid cesarean section in breech presentation.
