    Abstract:
In the experiment there has been traced the influence of some mineral waters administered per os in spa treatment on the levels of Na+, K+, Ca2+, Mg2+ in the blood serum of rats which were receiving the waters intragastrically in a single daily dose of 14.3 cm3/kg of body weight for a period of 24 days. Also the influence of those waters on the smooth muscles of the alimentary tract of the rabbit in the in vitro circumstances has been investigated. A differentiated influence of the waters on the motor activity (tension, frequency, amplitude of spontaneous motility) of the small intestine and on the level of the investigated electrolytes in the serum of the animals could ascertained.
