Title: [Persistence of immunity after hepatitis B vaccination]. Author: Madaliński K. Journal: Przegl Epidemiol; 2002; 56(4):605-13. PubMed ID: 12666586. Abstract: The paper recalls different preparations of vaccines (including these containing S, preS1 and preS2 antigens), schemes of vaccinations and their effects. The possible causes of hyporeactivity to hepatitis B vaccines, both technical and dependent on deficiency of immunity, or immunogenetic profile of a vaccine were discussed. The persistence of anti-HBs responses after natural infection and post-vaccination was compared. Finally, a possibility of persistence of post-vaccination cellular immunity for at least 15 years was discussed.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
