Title: Priapism: an unusual complication of parotitis without orchitis. Author: Katz ER, Politano V, Scandiffio M. Journal: J Urol; 1976 May; 115(5):613. PubMed ID: 1271566. Abstract: A 10-year-old white boy is described in whom priapism developed as a complication of parotitis without orchitis. Medical study failed to reveal any other etiology. The syndrome was assumed to be related to a mumps virus.
