Title: [Can MR angiography (MRA) replace conventional diagnostic angiography?]. Author: Atar E. Journal: Harefuah; 2003 May; 142(5):368-71, 397. PubMed ID: 12803062. Abstract: Magnetic Resonance Angiography (MRA) is a reliable and accurate tool for imaging the vascular tree. In the current state of the art, most of the vascular pathologies can be accurately diagnosed by MRA using MR machines equipped with very fast pulse sequences and highly sensitive gradients. This modality can replace conventional angiography and the use of iodine, thus reducing the morbidity of invasive iodinated contrast based procedures.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
