    Hospitals in Maine breathed a sigh of relief after a proposal to regulate hospital prices was removed from a state healthcare reform bill. But the move shows that health insurers there and across the country are targeting hospitals as lawmakers struggle to shoot down rising healthcare costs. Maine Gov. John Baldacci, left, has pushed a plan to regulate hospital revenue and expenses to rein in cost growth.
