Title: [Evaluation of penetrating keratoplasty for the treatment of keratoconus]. Author: Dong XG, Xie LX. Journal: Zhonghua Yan Ke Za Zhi; 1992 May; 28(3):144-6. PubMed ID: 1286599. Abstract: 22 cases (26 eyes) of keratoconus were performed penetrating keratoplasty and followed up 0.5-5 years. The disease was effectively controlled. The rate of graft transparency was 100%, and the immune rejection rate was 7.7%. Corrected vision was 0.4 or better in 23 cases after the operation.
