Abstract: A new strategy for the treatment of hepatic malignancy located deep in the cirrhotic liver is reported. A 66-year-old man, who had a 3 cm hepatocellular carcinoma in the cranial part of the caudate lobe, underwent an isolated caudate lobectomy.
