Title: [Problems in the pathomorphosis of neuroses]. Author: Ababkov VA. Journal: Zh Nevropatol Psikhiatr Im S S Korsakova; 1992; 92(5-12):93-7. PubMed ID: 1338171. Abstract: Overall 2,991 case reports of patients who stayed at the department for neuroses and psychotherapy during 1948-1988 underwent a clinico-socio-psychological analysis. Certain aspects of interisomorphism, intranosomorphism and intersyndromic pathomorphism of neuroses for the 40-year period are indicated. It is assumed that the main causes of pathomorphism as applicable to the patterns of neuroses are social and psychological mechanisms whereas the dominant syndrome is the combination of individual psychological factors with social and psychological ones as well as organic insufficiency.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
