Abstract: A novel technique of urinary diversion was designed by interposition of an intussuscepted ileal segment between the ureters and the rectosigmoidal pouch, thus preventing ureteral reflux as well as stenosis at the uretero-enteric anastomosis, possible occurrence of urocolonic carcinoma, and frequent evacuation or incontinence. Since all the procedures were limited to the lower abdominal cavity, the surgical invasiveness was compatible with that of an ileal conduit.
