Title: Perinephric abscess from insulin syringe reuse. Author: Paily R. Journal: Am J Med Sci; 2004 Jan; 327(1):47-8. PubMed ID: 14722397. Abstract: Perinephric abscess is a rare and often missed diagnosis. Diabetes mellitus and injection drug use are often considered among the predisposing factors for perinephric abscess. Physicians are often unaware of the high prevalence of disposable insulin syringe reuse in the community.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
