  • Title: Jenkins Type A scores in the relation of stress and premenstrual symptoms.
    Author: Dinning WD, Guptill AM.
Journal: Psychol Rep; 1992 Jun; 70(3 Pt 2):1152-4. PubMed ID: 1496085.
    Abstract:
To evaluate the manner in which the Type A scores are associated with the relationship between stress and premenstrual symptoms, 102 college women were administered the College Life Experiences Survey, the Jenkins Activity Survey, and the Premenstrual Assessment Form. An hierarchical regression analysis supported the direct effects hypothesis and indicated that the Type A scores are associated with more reported menstrual symptoms at all levels of stress.
