    Abstract:
    This material presents the results of a long-term research on 384 children born in 1982. The aim of this research was to state the changes in height and body mass--depending on the influence of some of the paragenetic factors. The same children were examined in different periods of their development, this means at the age of 0, 6, 10, 14 and 18 years. The article presents the results of research concerning children at the age of 6. The obtained results confirm the influence of especially the age of mother and the sequence of pregnancies on the physical development of children at the age of 6. This coherence is greater concerning boys rather than girls.
