    Abstract:
    A newly designed goniometer is presented for rapid and accurate measurement in the orthopaedic practice. This new instrument consists of two extensible arms with special calibrations. With proper adjustment of these arms, common and specific angles, such as the Cobb angle, can be measured easily and accurately. Specific calculations of various indices can be done quickly with special calibrations on the arms. This new instrument is simple, convenient, and accurate.
