Title: Abdominal pain resulting from cerebrospinal fluid pseudocyst and cholelithiasis. Author: Engelhard HH, Miller FB. Journal: South Med J; 1992 Aug; 85(8):851-2. PubMed ID: 1502630. Abstract: Patients treated with ventriculoperitoneal (VP) shunt procedures for hydrocephalus may have abdominal pain related to complications stemming from the shunt tubing itself or to other intra-abdominal disease. We have reported the rare occurrence of a CSF pseudocyst in an adult. The patient was also found to have cholelithiasis.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
