Title: Biosocial factors affecting menarche in a mixed Nigerian population. Author: Dare FO, Ogunniyi SO, Makinde OO. Journal: Cent Afr J Med; 1992 Feb; 38(2):77-81. PubMed ID: 1505015. Abstract: A prospective study of school girls in a mixed Nigerian population revealed that the mean menarcheal age was 13.98 +/- 1.30 years.
