Abstract: Deposition of calcium salts in intracranial parasitic structures, inflamed or necrotic tissue forms calcifications. They are manifestations of various diseases of the central nervous system. Apart from tumors, pathologic calcifications occur in the course of infectious and non-infectious diseases. In the paper there were presented intracranial calcifications of infectious origin on the basis of literature review and own observations.
