Title: Early recurrence of arrhythmia in patients taking amiodarone or class 1C agents for treatment of atrial fibrillation or atrial flutter. Author: Hauser TH, Pinto DS, Josephson ME, Zimetbaum P. Journal: Am J Cardiol; 2004 May 01; 93(9):1173-6. PubMed ID: 15110217. Abstract: Amiodarone use for the prevention of recurrent atrial fibrillation or atrial flutter requires drug loading over a period of several days to weeks, whereas class 1C agents do not. Recurrent arrhythmia was not more common with amiodarone.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
