Abstract: Host of the duodenal diverticulum are asymptomatic and located on the second part of the duodenum; these diverticula may induce major haemorrhage on rare occasions. We report on two patients who presented with massive upper gastrointestinal bleeding originating from a duodenal diverticulum.
