Title: Medical decision-making and healthcare disparities: The physician's role. Author: Aberegg SK, Terry PB. Journal: J Lab Clin Med; 2004 Jul; 144(1):11-7. PubMed ID: 15252402. Abstract: Widespread disparities in US healthcare have been documented with attendant speculation about their causes, including the potential role of the physician as a healthcare decision-maker.
