Title: Characteristics of smoking and cessation behaviors among high school students in New Jersey. Author: Steinberg MB, Delnevo CD, Foulds J, Pevzner E. Journal: J Adolesc Health; 2004 Sep; 35(3):231-3. PubMed ID: 15313505. Results of the 1999 New Jersey Youth Tobacco Survey show that frequent smokers have higher daily consumption, more difficulty abstaining, high interest in quitting, and lower self-efficacy. These findings may help in developing effective treatment strategies.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
