Title: Chylothorax after blunt chest trauma. Author: Janzing H, Tonnard P, Van den Brande F, Derom F. Journal: Acta Chir Belg; 1992; 92(1):26-7. PubMed ID: 1553845. Abstract: An unusual patient with chylothorax following blunt chest trauma is presented. Diagnosis was, in this acute case, clear after thoracostomy. In our patient conservative therapy with total parenteral nutrition failed and he was cured with a surgical closure of the duct leak.
