PubMed ID: 15551695. Abstract: In this paper, after differentiating evaluation from classical research, three issues are addressed: How to deal with the tyranny of randomised controlled trials? How to ascribe behavioural effects to prevention or to treatment? How to disentangle the short and long term effects of interventions?
