Title: [Strategy of surgical treatment for injuries of the pancreas]. Author: Aliev SA. Journal: Vestn Khir Im I I Grek; 2004; 163(4):33-8. PubMed ID: 15626071. Abstract: Results of surgical treatment of injuries of the pancreas were analyzed in 89 patients aged from 15 years through 63. It was found that these traumas were accompanied by multiple and combined injuries of polyorganic localization, were characterized by very complex diagnosing, great number of postoperative complications and high lethality. The complex application of the present-day diagnostic methods and a differential approach to the selection of the rational strategy, pathogenetically grounded prophylactics of postoperative complication and their adequate operative correction are thought to be the perspective ways to improve the results of treatment.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
