PubMed ID: 15732006. Abstract: INTRODUCTION: Leiomyoma of the urinary bladder is a rare, benign tumor of mesenchymal origin. Treatment options are discussed. Besides open surgery and transurethral resection of small, submucosal tumors, laparoscopic excision is an effective therapeutical option with a low complication rate.
