Abstract: This paper reported a method for the direct determination of aluminum in soil samples by air-acetylene flame atomic absorption spectrometry. The enhancement effect on aluminum of adding tetramethylammonium chloride was studied. 43 microg/mL/1% of characteristic concentration was reached.
