Abstract: Collagenous colitis is a condition usually characterized by watery diarrhoea, macroscopically normal colonic mucosa and a typically thickened subepithelial collagen band on histological examination. It is rare in children, and coexistence with other inflammatory bowel diseases has been reported only rarely.
