Abstract: Fungal urinary tract infection represents a high-risk event in severely ill patients. We report a case of a prostatic abscess due to Candida tropicalis with no systemic manifestations. In first time, a conservative treatment with antifungal treatment and transrectal ultrasound-guided drainage was performed without success.
