Title: Best evidence topic report. Primary split skin grafts for pretibial lacerations. Author: Dasan S, Hashemi K. Journal: Emerg Med J; 2005 Aug; 22(8):560-1. PubMed ID: 16046759. Abstract: A short cut review was carried out to establish whether primary split skin grafting is better than simple wound edge approximation at reducing time to healing in patients with pretibial flap lacerations. A total of 72 papers were found using the reported search, of which one presented the best evidence to answer the clinical question. The author, date and country of publication, patient group studied, study type, relevant outcomes, results and study weaknesses of this best paper are tabulated. A clinical bottom line is stated.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
