Title: Sympathetic ophthalmia following evisceration: a rare case. Author: Griepentrog GJ, Lucarelli MJ, Albert DM, Nork TM. Journal: Ophthalmic Plast Reconstr Surg; 2005 Jul; 21(4):316-8. PubMed ID: 16052152. Abstract: We describe a case of sympathetic ophthalmia following evisceration of a blind, painful, posttraumatic, glaucomatous eye.
