Abstract: Endoscopy has enhanced the science and practice of obstetrics and gynaecology immeasurably over the last decade. There is an established place for most of these procedures, especially in the case of laparoscopy. The hazard of laparoscopy should be able to be further reduced. In the case of laparoscopic sterilization, probably the most conservative method should be used, especially in those at risk of seeking reversal.
