    Abstract:
    The causes, symptoms and treatment of ruptured false aneurysms in 14 cases were reviewed with special attention to early diagnosis. Once aneurysmal wall ruptured, emergency surgery was necessary to stop bleeding. The repairment of the artery depended on the position, size of the rupture, and the patient's condition. Small arteries were safely embolized using spring-coil on arteriography. In dealing with ruptured large aneurysm, we suggest resection of the aneurysm and repair of the artery after occlusion of blood circulation by balloon catheter.
