Title: [Oxcarbazepine-induced localized penile edema]. Author: Rallis E, Theodoridis A, Moussatou V, Papadakis P, Verros C. Journal: J Dtsch Dermatol Ges; 2005 Oct; 3(10):786-7. PubMed ID: 16194158. Abstract: Oxcarbazepine is a analogue of carbamazepine with anticonvulsant and analgesic activity. We report a case of localized penile edema caused by oxcarbazepine. The association between the drug and the adverse reaction was confirmed by rechallenge test. This is the first reported case of oxcarbazepine-induced localized penile edema.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
