Abstract: We report an atypical presentation of meningitis due to Neisseria meningitidis in a patient who received large doses of ibuprofen. Anti-inflammatory therapy such as NSAIDs could reduce CSF inflammation and modify the clinical outcome in patients with bacterial meningitis.
