    Abstract:
    The Sera of 887 asymtomatic volunteer donors were subjected to a haemagglutination screening technique (Hepanosticon Test) for the detection of Australian B Antigen (HBAg). Forty-one of these Sera were strongly positive and two were positive giving an incidence 4.6% which is higher than previously reported incidence. The implication of these findings is discussed.
