    Abstract:
    Neuro-ophthalmologic manifestations of whiplash injury may be evident or quite inapparent. Presentation is made of a young woman sustaining whiplash injury, who developed visual field impairment and reduced amplitude of accommodation with pronounced asthenopic discomforts. The potential visual system lesions secondary to whiplash injury, generally manifesting as impaired accommodation and convergence, ocular motility disorders, lesions of the posterior ocular segment and visual field impairments, are systematically described.
