Abstract: Nutrition is a very important factor in maintenance of human health. Defects in nutrition may become the main "killer" and "pathogen" in current human society. Malnutrition can modify host defenses, influence the disease patterns and outcomes. The paper introduces the notion "trophologic status" as an indicator of human health. The definition is presented.
