  • Title: [Clinical aspects and differential diagnosis of psychopathic disorders in adolescents with schizophrenia].
    Author: Golik AN.
Journal: Zh Nevropatol Psikhiatr Im S S Korsakova; 1991; 91(1):107-11. PubMed ID: 1647088.
    Abstract:
The author has studied psychopathlike disorders in 100 patients with schizophrenia of the young age and divided them into 2 groups in accordance with the psychopathological features. The first group included patients with equivalents of psychopathlike states. Those states are changed by negative symptoms. The second group consisted of patients with the psychopathlike manifestations proper. The author has established as well that the clinical displays of such states in patients of both groups are different and reflect the dynamics of the illness. Besides, conclusions are made that in patients with equivalents of psychopathlike disorders, the process begins at an earlier age than in the second group patients.
