PubMed ID: 16476621. Abstract: Abdominal aortic endograft infection is a serious complication after an endovascular abdominal aortic aneurysm repair. Pasteurella multocida, a gram-negative bacterium, is a commonly found organism in the mouth flora of many house pets. We report a case of an aortic endograft infection caused by P multocida after a rabbit bite.
