    Abstract:
AIM: To analyse personality-mood features and variants of neurotic disorders in patients with minor anomalies of the heart (MAH) depending on phenotypic signs of dysembryogenesis. MATERIAL AND METHODS: Echocardiography, psychological questionnaire testing were performed in 120 patients (10 males and 10 females) aged 18-30 years with mitral prolapse and/or dislocated chords of the left ventricle. The control group consisted of 22 healthy volunteers. RESULTS: Patients with a differentiated syndrome of connective tissue dysplasia had more frequently hyperthymic, pedantic, anxious, cyclothymic and dysthymic types of accentuations which were more pronounced than in healthy subjects. CONCLUSION: With aggravation of connective tissue dysplasia syndrome, patients with minor anomalies of the heart show a tendency to psychic maladaptation.
