Abstract: Pregnancy and puerperium are physiological thrombophilic condition and risk of venous thromboembolism in pregnancy is 4 - 6 fold higher. This risk is further increased in the presence of the additional risk factors. Inherited thrombophilia is well-defined risk factor for VTE in pregnancy and also can be the risk for obstetrics complications.
