Title: [Nocturnal fears in children and their relation to epilepsy]. Author: Marulina VI, Maliuta LS. Journal: Zh Nevropatol Psikhiatr Im S S Korsakova; 1991; 91(12):25-7. PubMed ID: 1666703. As shown by observations, the majority of nocturnal fears are of mixed nature, i.e. they have both epileptic and neurotic characteristics at a time. None of the symptoms analyzed may be regarded as absolute to prove the epileptic genesis of nocturnal fears. Clinico-electroencephalographic correlations revealed a direct relationship between the number of the clinical symptoms providing evidence in favour of epilepsy and changes on the EEG.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
