Title: Intracranial tumors: correlation of angiography with dynamic radionuclide studies. Author: Moore JS, Kieffer SA, Goldberg ME, Loken MK. Journal: Radiology; 1975 May; 115(2):393-8. PubMed ID: 167399. Abstract: In a group of 100 supratentorial brain tumors, 23% demonstrated increased activity during the dynamic portion of the brain scan. Increased activity correlates best with the following angiographic characteristics: (a) increased size of supplying vessels, and (b) vascular supply simultaneously from both parenchymal and meningeal arteries. Increased activity has no correlation with the presence of early venous drainage, peritumoral edema, or degree of tumor vascularity and/or stain.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
