Title: Pathogenesis and treatment of endometritis in the mare: a review. Author: Hurtgen JP. Journal: Theriogenology; 2006 Aug; 66(3):560-6. PubMed ID: 16824588. Abstract: Inflammatory conditions of the uterus, collectively known as endometritis, can be classified as acute, chronic, active, or subclinical. This condition causes substantial reductions in mare fertility. This paper addresses predisposing factors, diagnostic procedures and therapy strategies for different mare groups.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
