  • Title: [The diagnosis of ghost cell glaucoma with methyl violet stain].
    Author: Zhong GQ.
Journal: Zhonghua Yan Ke Za Zhi; 1990 May; 26(3):159-61. PubMed ID: 1697803.
    Abstract:
The diagnosis in 30 cases of ghost cell glaucoma was confirmed by the method of 1% methyl violet staining, which was simple, convenient and pathognomonic. The authors believed that ghost cells could develop both in the anterior chamber and in the vitreous. Since the hypotensive effect was marked, treatment should not be neglected even for cases with no light perception.
