Abstract: Climacterium is a physiological (so absolutely normal) occurrence in a woman's life. Menopause is not a disease but some women have somatic and/or psychic (for example: stress related) problems connected with this life-stage transition. The presented study examined stress-coping strategies and personal coping resources (optimism, emotional control, sense of self-efficacy, sense of self-worth and sense of life satisfaction).
