Title: Nicolau Syndrome: three cases and review. Author: Luton K, Garcia C, Poletti E, Koester G. Journal: Int J Dermatol; 2006 Nov; 45(11):1326-8. PubMed ID: 17076716. Abstract: Nicolau Syndrome, also known as livedo-like dermatitis (LLD) or embolia cutis medicamentosa (ECM) is an infrequent complication following intramuscular and intra-articular injection of various drugs.
