Title: Intensive insulin therapy in the intensive cardiac care unit. Author: Hasin T, Eldor R, Hammerman H. Journal: Acute Card Care; 2006; 8(4):181-5. PubMed ID: 17162544. This review aims to explain the rationale for providing intensive control of serum glucose levels in the ICCU, especially using intensive insulin therapy and summarizes the available clinical evidence suggesting its effectiveness.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
