    Abstract:
    The microscopic anatomy and ultrastructure of the urinary bladder epithelium are described in the giraffe and the hartebeest. Differences between the epithelial cell layers of the urinary bladder are described. Cells belonging to different layers show variations in their cell organelles and inclusions. The surface cells contain relatively few fusiform and spherical vesicles.
